Prince Charming part 1

In Anecdotes on December 5, 2010 at 5:13 am

I had told a friend of mine, a guy, about whole Disney paradigm and he asked me about the flip side of  it: how the men don’t have names

Prince Charming (Cinderell and Snow White)

The Beast (Beauty in the Beast)

The only movie about Disney princesses that’s based on the ‘prince’ is Aladdin (I’m pretty sure at least)

But that’s because we girls are supposed to believe that all guys are charming and that any man can satisfy our dreams (he just has to fall for our beauty or amazing voices)

Little Mermaid: Her voice captivates him

Cinderella: (Start at 2:43 and Stop at 6:49) Her beauty captivates him

Unfortunately, men aren’t all charming, though they are all the same – at least when it comes to romantic relationships (ASSHOLES) Ok, maybe that was harsh, but I feel like I’ve heard so much crap about guys this semester I could scream! I’m sick and tired of it.

Do girls really do nothing but talk about guys and hope someone ‘special’ will come along? ‘Mr. Right’.  Ugh, please, he doesn’t exist.  Fairy tale love does not exist – real life is a little more complicated/convoluted than that because people are stupid or complicated, however you want to look at it.
